Sunline Alpacas

Sunline Alpacas was established in 2001, with purchases of Peruvian bloodstock from a local breeder and in addition, a couple of pregnant females with similar blood lines from a southern breeder. Since then, the Sunline herd has grown to over 70, necessitating a move early on from the initial 10 acre property to our present acreage at Palmwoods, nestled in the foothills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland.

Jeff was working in Brisbane as sales
manager for an electrical cable company, but now works full time managing the alpaca business, while
Jill continues to work in administration.

We have actively sought out proven genetics to compliment our
homegrown Queensland animals in a bid to
produce a superior alpaca suited to the sub-tropical conditions in this state.

As subscribers to the SRS breeding program, we are continually striving for genetic gain in each new generation. Our birthing season in Autumn is filled with expectation and joy as new cria fulfil their promise.
